Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your response. We would love to help out with health charlas. We will be looking a little closer this week at our schedule through nicaragua and will get back to you next week about possible dates. We will be in touch soon,

I’m a PCV in Nicaragua’s Agriculture and Sustainable Food Security program, my APCD sent me an e’mail that you folks’ll be riding through here. It’d be cool to coordinate some work if you have time.
I’d like to make a Lorena stove, or a few.
Also, I’m going to be working on barrel ovens, organic foliar fertilizers, and promoting cover crop legumes. If you guys have experience or just want to come and hang out feel free.
I live in La Danta, Somotillo, Chinandega, Nicaragua
I´m a health volunteer in Somoto, Madriz, Nicaragua, about twenty minutes away from the border crossing to Honduras in El Espino. Right now I´m working with a group of Irish students, who will be preparing and building drip irrigation systems for demonstration community gardens at health centers in three rural communities near here. I will be gone the week of July 12th through 16th for some in service training, and they could definitely use some help that week if you all will be passing through. Let me know!
Rebecca’s mom here. You are doing a neat thing. We’ll follow your progress from good old Arbela Missouri and enjoy Rebecca and Dante’s company here at home (when they get here). Best of luck on your adventure.
Nice website and bike trip! I just biked down from Seattle to around where you started your bike trip and there is info on my web blog. I have met a couple of you already through my little sister, Rhonda in Bellingham. If I knew about this trip earlier, I would have provided you with some accommodation and food I grow here in Costa Rica. Anyway, have a good trip! I may attempt one very similar in a couple years. It would be great to hear your thoughts on a good route back up north.
Honorable Riders,
To read of your journey and see what great things people can do constantly inspires me. Our thoughts and prayers from our Numu (Paiute) people are definitely with you all. As we prepares to embark from Payahu Nadu into our ancient trade routes within the Eastern sierras, we will think of you all on your routes as well. Tsow Mia Wei! 🙂

Hi Guys!
It was wonderful meeting you and I loved your website. I can’t wait to hear more.
I was worried that you didn’t make it to Oceano by dark. I should have taken you home with me!
You have lifetime memories, I’m sooo jealous.
